We are qualified specialists in the production of architectural and structural steelwork.
All welding is carried out by coded welders working to the EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 standard up to execution level 2.
Devon Valley Fabrications are certified to the harmonised standard EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 for the production of Structural components & the provision of structural steel & fabricated products.
Devon Valley Fabrications are permitted to issue declarations of performance in support of CE Marked product, thereby confirming that the product has been produced to the agreed specification.
Unless customer specifies tolerances, Devon Valley Fabrications will apply their standard set of tolerances as per document DVF 05-03 issue 1/15 which is available on request.
For structural metalwork applications: Unless specified, Devon Valley Fabrications will apply their standard default level of execution level 2.

Heavy structural steelwork….
We can create heavy structural metalwork for a diverse range of buildings.
Typically working in steel, our fabrications include all the key structural metal work. We mainly supply universal beams, columns, channels and steel plate to give the main structure to a project, we also use box sections, flats, angles and circular hollow sections to produce some of the additional fabricated parts and the bracing required to stiffen the frame work.
We also supply open grid flooring, chequer plate, sheet metalwork, cladding and a huge range of key accessories and features to complete the structure.
With our experience we can consistently create steelwork of the highest standard which meets all building and safety regulations and load weight requirements.
We are able to supply the steelwork, in self colour, blasted and zinc primed or galvanised. Also we can offer a range of colours to suit the commercial branding of your company.
Structural metalwork accessories….
Structural fabrications often need a range of additional accessories and equipment to turn them into a complete building and we can fabricate barriers, gantries, vents, metal doors, window frames and a wide variety of railings, gates and fencing.
We aim to provided a package of fabrications using a architectural style and a quality finish, plus great turnarounds and competitive prices.
Light architectural steel……
We create a diverse range of architectural steelwork items including A-frames, portal frame structures, canopies, building entrances, staircases, balustrades, bridges, railings and gates of all kinds. Supplied as a one off project to refurbish a building or alongside structural steelwork.
We also provide a full installation service on all our structural steel and architectural metalwork, taking care of transporting the steelwork to site and getting it installed securely with every attention to health and safety detail.
Our workshops are in Cullompton just off junction 28 of the M5. It is an ideal location to give us great access all across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. We are very close to Tiverton and Wellington, we are around a twenty
minute drive to Exeter, Honiton and Taunton, thirty five minutes from Bridgwater and hour from Barnstaple, Plymouth and Bristol.
All staff have CSCS and PASMA cards and are used to working on busy sites.
Risk assessments are carried out and Method statements are written and all paperwork is issued prior to any work taking place on site.
